It has been a pretty productive week! I've been 'digging' around in my yard edging my gardens. Yay! Trying to get r' done before summer heat sets in. Because I plan on using this skid of bricks. Click over and see what my plan is....
I also finished another chapter in My Life Story!
On to the party!
Hi Everyone! What a week!!! Life seems to have gotten in the way of pretty much everything else this week. My mother is visiting for a month and landed up in the hospital. She's fine! But it's really changed the way we are living and working right now. I have unfinished projects everywhere inside and out. But life will return to normal as she heals and moves into a long term care facility nearby. So I really don't have much to share with you this week.
Before she went in the hospital, we enjoyed this rhubarb upside down cake one afternoon in the garden. I made it with Splenda as she is diabetic. But wrote out the recipe for you with regular sugar.
There were so many lovely tablescapes for Mothers Day and Cinco de Mayo that it was so hard to choose just one. But I fell in love with the little flower-filled moss covered baskets in this one by

I love a good cleaning tip. And an accidental one like these dryer sheet screen cleaners is even better! Jodi from Minnie's Milestones shows us how to get sparkling clean window screens in one easy step. Love it!

As you probably know by now, I love a good DIY. And this herringbone trellis by Bethany from Simply Said Seven took me back to one of my first DIY projects - a rose trellis. Believe me when I tell you that Bethany's is 100 times better than the one we made!

The BBQ is heating up at our house lately. We love to make all sorts of things on the grill, not just hamburgers & hot dogs. So when I saw this BBQ Chicken Naan Bread Pizza Julie made, I knew it would become a family favourite.

There will be no gardening this weekend as the forecast calls for rain and cold temperatures. So I was browsing for a quick craft to do this afternoon and came across these easy map table mats from Pillar Box Blue.
