Sorry, I kinda left you hanging last year on this project.... The holidays took over and this little project hit the back burner. But it's DONE and beautiful. This is where we left off....
The sink was put in and I had finished stenciling the walls. You can click on this link and check it out! Powder Room Progress
Love, love, love, the way the walls turned out! It's timeless and classic. I don't believe I'll tire of this anytime soon. 😍
Soooo.... Here it is!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Simple and perfect!
I can't believe how different it looks! Let's take a walk down memory lane and see how far we've come.... Whew, thank goodness my photography and editing skills have improved! This is when we moved in, very builder basic.
Then in 2013, came the first makeover (which I never finished....)
Don't get me wrong, it was pretty, but we kinda changed our style and now this new makeover just feels so right! AND I finished it!! Yay me! 🙌
This time it wasn't even hard to finish, because I knew exactly what I wanted. It looks just like I pictured it. 😍
I used the same light fixture, but looks so different painted black! And I picked up the mirror at Target. The sink and vanity was a set we found at Lowes.
Let me tell you about those shelves!! We built them! Bent the steel and painted them!! Hubby even made the towel bar. If you want to see the whole process, click over to DIY Farmhouse Steel Shelf Brackets.
Just a couple of IKEA plants and a few decor items to keep the shelves simple. I just LOVE it!!
I wanted a little sign right above the light switch.... The door is open most of the time and I can see and read this sweet phrase every time I walk by.
It was super simple to make! I just used some of the leftover shiplap, painted it white, and printed the phrase and transferred it onto the shiplap. I've used the same technique over and over. Here's a link to a detailed tutorial. Hollow Core Door Sign
Then I cut 1x2's to frame it and added some greenery. I can't say enough, how much I love this little room!!
How about one more before and after.... I'm truly amazed!
Here's one to pin for later!
Thanks for reading!!
Blessings,
I love it, it looks amazing.
