(My) Fashion Over 40 ~ The Supremacy of The King

I have two weeks to show you today.
I caught some sort of a bug last week and it I spent two days on the couch. Whew! Glad that's over!
Anyway....
Here's last week's outfit.

Just a casual pair of navy slacks with a tank top.
The only thing new here is the red cardigan.
Clearance rack at Wally World...$5. :)
I thought some pearls would dress it up a bit.

Here is what I wore this week:
Finally, warm enough to be outside. :)
Some casual grey/blue capris (Kohls). A side tie pink printed tank top (Kohls), with a light pink cardigan(?) and gladiator sandals (Ross).
Nope nothing new here.  I just like to see different ways I can wear items in my closet.

It was Palm Sunday yesterday,
We had one of our member's preach today.
I love to hear Tony, he always has a good word.
He taught on
"Presenting With Passion the Supremacy of The King"

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.  He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.  And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy. Colossians 1 15-18 (NIV)

An encounter with Jesus can change everything!
Think about Lazarus or Zachaeus.
I'm sure they're lives were never the same.
My life has never been the same.
We must be prepared to share Jesus with people, to show them we care.

We need to exhibit extreme determination, to diligently pursue the King.
We can't let this world distract or keep us quiet.

To be willing to live a life of extreme sacrifice and service.

To be generous and to have a heart of reconciliation
 (basically making things right).

To engage in extravagant worship and
to bear an extreme witness.

To live a life in extreme obedience to Christ.
Jesus paid the ultimate price.

For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 (NLT)

What price am I willing to pay?

Jesus said, "Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity. John 12:25(NLT)

Lord, I pray I live a life that honors you as King, that You will be supreme in my heart.

Blessings,
