Pumpkin Brownie {Dessert}

Hi, everybody!
Yes, I'm still here!  Just enjoying the time I have with my kiddos.
Before you know it Christmas break will be over!
I hope you all are enjoying this wonderful time of year!
Today, I'm going to share a family recipe that I have been making for
over 20 years.  It's a holiday favorite and a must have at our
Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.
Pumpkin Brownies! Yum!

These aren't your typical brownies, there is NO chocolate in these.
And to be honest with you, I have no idea where the "brownie" part of the name came from. They are really more like a pumpkin bar, but
Pumpkin Brownies is what we've always called them.
They are so EASY, moist and delicious!
Here is the recipe:

Pumpkin Brownies
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Crust:
1 pkg. yellow cake mix (save 1c. for the topping)
1 stick of margarine or butter (melted)
1 egg

Mix and spread into a 9x13 pan.

Filling:
2 eggs beaten
1 (16oz.) can pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
1 sm.(5oz.) can evaporated milk
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground clove

Mix and pour over crust.

Topping:
1 cup cake mix (left from crust)
1 stick of margarine or butter, cold and sliced
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Crumble with pastry blender and sprinkle on top of filling.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
