The year is winding down and now I’m gearing up for the new year! Plus we have the Leeper's Annual New Year’s Eve Party!! Which is always so much fun!!
Anyway, I thought I’d share some of the best of 2015… a few that everybody liked and a few of my personal favorites.
First, let me share my favorite recipe of the year…. This one knocked my socks off. It came out so beautiful and it practically melted in your mouth. A.m.a.z.i.n.g!!!
Salted Caramel Buttercream Chocolate Ganache Cake
This is an oh my goodness kind of cake!
Okay, now on to my other favorites of the year!!
This one was a lot of work, but really changed the look of my kitchen. I would do it again in a heartbeat!
Painting My Kitchen Cabinets
What a difference!! They have held up beautifully! I just love my kitchen! If you’ve ever considered painting your cabinets, DO IT! I wish I hadn’t waited so long!!
Another one of my favorites, is one I did recently.
The Very Cheap Plank Wall.
This was another game changer in the kitchen. I just can’t express how much this wall demands attention! And if you want to see the cool shelf we added, it’s one of the Easiest Ways To Build A Floating Shelf!
And my last one is the Ladies Church Bathroom Project that I spearheaded. It was such an honor to receive such trust and confidence from our Lead Pastor. He gave me and the committee such freedom in this project. It turned out beautiful!
There were a lot of steps to get to the finished project, but what a transformation!
Now a few Top Posts of the year.
What’s funny is that most of them had to do with the Ladies Church Bathroom Remodel.
In 3rd Place..
How To Frame A Bathroom Mirror Without Miter Cuts
I loved this project! Being able to frame a mirror without having to make those dreaded miter cuts is soooo convenient and easy! I plan on doing this in my master bathroom.
In 2nd Place….
Thrifty & Easy Faux Granite Countertops
This was one of the first projects we did in the Ladies Church Bathroom Remodel, because if it didn’t work, we were going to have to tear out the counter and install a new one. It worked out perfectly. And it still looks great! No issues at all.
Top post of they year…
Easy DIY $1 Spice Racks ($3 in the picture, because I made 3 of them!! :))
When I wrote this one, I never dreamed in a million years that this would be my top post! It was one of those “eh, this is kinda meh” posts. But Oh, no! I was wrong!
In fact, next year this little baby is going to be in print, yeah, like a real paper magazine! Pretty cool, right??! I’m so excited!!
So, there you have it. 2015 is coming to a close....
What’s in store for next year? I’m working on those plans as we speak. I’m very excited for 2016! I love the fresh beginning the new year brings. What about you? How do you feel about the new year? Any plans in the works??
Well, that’s all for now folks! Talk to you next year!
Blessings!!
